PPB-administrated PCs

If you want to buy a new system, please note that PP&B only supports the Dell systems Optiplex 3070/5070/7070 with Intel CPUs (order the desktop without preinstalled Windows!). The e-procurement system provides a link to the Dell premier-page (EDV Desktops, Notebooks, Workstations from Dell), where you can configure your PC regarding main storage, hard disk, DVD drive and so on.

PP&B only supports Dell PCs with Windows 7/64-Bit and Windows 10/64-Bit installed by PP&B. PC hardware systems older than 5 years are no longer supported in case of failure; in this case we recommend disposing of the hardware.

In 2020, Windows 7 reached its "end of life" and is no longer supported. If you have trouble with your Windows 7 system, please contact us for a software upgrade to Windows 10/64-Bit.
