Quick Outlook Settings:

Incoming Mailserver (IMAP):
Hostname: imap.fhi-berlin.mpg.de
Port: 993
Encryption: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mailserver (SMTP):
Hostname: mail.fhi-berlin.mpg.de
Port: 587
Encryption: STARTTLS

Microsoft Outlook Configuration (Beware of using Outlook2013, it will corrupt you mail-boxes!)

A. Start Outlook and press on File

You should be able to see this (Microsoft Outlook 2010):

B. Now we press on Add New Account. A window opens just like you can see on Picture 2

C. Here we press "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and then click on next.

Now we press on Internet E-Mail (the important thing is that we can connect to the IMAP Server)

D. Just fill everything out like I show you in Picture 4 and we're done.

Very Important: Press on "Test Accounts Settings ...", if nothing goes wrong, this should do it.
